“Yes!!!” Donghae grinned from ear to ear when he overheard the producer saying that he could rap the part after Eunhyuk’s. He had been wanting to do that for years now after the song ‘mirror’, other than that, he didn’t really had a chance to rap or even sing the part after Eunhyuk. He jumped as he went to search for Eunhyuk to tell him the good news.
“They are letting you what?!” Eunhyuk shouted, not knowing whether it is from excitement or fear that Donghae would ruin the song just because he was happy. “You don’t like it?” Donghae pouted, eyes almost filled with tears. He sniffled abit before Eunhyuk went up to him, flustered. “I didn’t say that.” Waving his hands up in the air, scared that Donghae would be angry with him. “Then?” Donghae took a step back, almost tripping over a chair if not for Eunhyuk. “I like it.” Eunhyuk smiled. Donghae frowned and showed his discontent. “You like it?” he asked, pouting even more when Eunhyuk nodded his head vigorously. “Yes! I do!” Eunhyuk was flustered at this point, he doesn’t know why Donghae was frowning just because he said he likes it. “You don’t love it? You only like it?” Donghae turned away from Eunhyuk and plopped down on a chair, crossing his hands firmly on his chest. “Awww… Don’t be like this. Of course I love it!” Eunhyuk sat on the chair beside Donghae and nodded his head. “I knew you would!” Donghae frown became a smile as he hooked Eunhyuk’s arm bringing them closer. Eunhyuk let out a frustrated growl before he allowed himself to be hugged by Donghae.
“WHAT!?” Sungmin and Ryeowook shouted after the producer broke the news to all of them. Donghae could be seen grinning like an idiot at the corner and Eunhyuk was trying hard to avoid all the stares that were shot at him. “If you are letting them sing together than we are too!” Sungmin demanded, pulling Kyuhyun up from his sit.
“But..” The producer was caught in the middle. “We too!” Ryeowook shouted, holding Yesung’s hand up in the air. “But…” The producer stuttered.
“Wookie I said it first!” Sungmin pouted and looked at the producer for permission. “But Hyung, you and Kyuhyunnie did sing together during ‘What if’” “That.. That was a different story.” Sungmin reasoned, poking Kyuhyun, asking him to help.
Kyuhyun groaned before his attention went back to his phone again. “Hyung..” Ryeowook cooed as he tugged Yesung’s shirt. “Just let them sing, my turtles need food and Kkoming need a walk, let’s just go home okay?” Yesung nodded his head hoping Ryeowook would agree with him. Well, someone did. “No one is doing any ‘duets’!” Eeteuk shouted from the corner of the room. Heechul who was sleeping through the whole conversation jumped from his sit. “Holy mother of lord! Who was that?!” Heechul grabbed the hand rest of the sofa for support.
“This is not happening!” The producer groaned as he stepped out from the room allowing Eeteuk to take over. “No one is going to have a duet.” Eeteuk spoke a little nicer this time. “Eunhae is not rapping together anyways.
“But still!” Sungmin and Ryeowook pouted in unison. “No. And my decision is final, none of you should go begging to the producer you hear me?” Eeteuk warned. “Hyung…” Sungmin cooed but Eeteuk stood strong and confidently shook his head. Kyuhyun who was surprisingly listening to the whole conversation rather than his phone stands up and approached Eeteuk with an evil smirk on his face. “Hyung…” He bends down to whisper something into Eeteuk’s ear. Eeteuk’s face became bright red as soon as Kyuhyun finished what he had to say.
“Kyuhyun and Sungmin can sing together!” He said in a rush. Breathing naturally only after Sungmin had been pulled out of the room by Kyuhyun to head back to the dorm. “Let’s go too.” Eunhyuk whispered to Donghae. “Yeah! Let’s go practice our duet.” Donghae brimmed. “It’s not really a duet.” Eunhyuk rolled his eyes. “But…” Donghae pouted. “Fine fine fine. It is. Let’s just get out of here before Eeteuk nags at us.”
The other members followed suit and the room was only left with Eeteuk, Ryeowook and Yesung. “Hyung…” Ryeowook cooed. “No. I let Kyuhyun and Sungmin did it already. 2 so called duets is already enough.” He shook his hands in front of Ryeowook’s face. Ryeowook punched Yesung asking him to say something. He let out a low growl before he shot up and said. “Teuk Hyung, let us do the duet.” “Why should I? It’s not like you are threatening me or anything.” Shuddering at the words whispered to him just now.
“Do you want more air time then?” Yesung asked with a shrug. “Air time?” Eeteuk thought of it for a moment before he answered. “But you don’t have much anyways.” Raising a brow. “It’s either you take my air time or…” Yesung smirked as he approached Eeteuk, kinda in the same way as Kyuhyun but less scary. “or?” Eeteuk asked as his back touched the wall. “Or I will do what Kyuhyun is doing too.” Yesung pulls off a quite scary smirk.
“It’s not like you know.” Eeteuk defended himself. “Oh really?” Yesung took out his phone and scroll to his latest message that was from Kyuhyun and showed it to Eeteuk.
“That brat!!!” Eeteuk shouted, face flushed from the message or should I say picture that was sent to Yesung.
“ARG!!! You want the duet? You got it!!!” Eeteuk shouted before he took off along the corridor.
