"Hi Jonghyun, is Kyu around?"
"Hey Sungmin, Kyuhyun went off already."
Sungmin looked at the clock which shows 1pm, "So early? Doesn't he have schedules later?"
"Well, he's suppose to have a pretty pack schedule these few months but a few weeks back, he asked me to cancel all his noon schedule. He said he wanted to go home earlier to spend more time with you."
"Oh..."
"Why Sungmin? Is anything wrong?" Jonghyun asked out of concern.
"No, it's not that. Nothing is wrong, I'm just curious why is he home so early everyday. Don't worry."
"He is really sweet, isn't he? I have never seen this side of him before, lucky you! I'll call you back some other day okay, gotta rush for an appointment now! Bye Sungmin, see you soon!"
"Okay. Bye Jonghyun." Sungmin hung up and started sobbing.
She lied.
Instead of coming home early everyday, Kyuhyun leaves at 10am and reaches back at almost 10pm everyday. Initially, Sungmin still cooked dinner for him but she stopped when she realised that Kyuhyun seems to have had his meal before coming home. Kyuhyun didn't complain about the change, or rather he might not even have realised that.
He was no longer intimate with Sungmin. He used to initiate their love-making session every night without fail, no matter how late he comes home. But now, he only gives Sungmin quick pecks after he comes home and head to bed immediately after showering. Whenever Sungmin tries to initiate something, he would just kiss Sungmin's forehead and claim that he's too tired and have to wake up early for his hectic schedule the next morning.
To top of it off, she started smelling this faint perfume fragrance on Kyuhyun's shirt every time he comes home. It wasn't strong but being the sensitive Sungmin, she could smell it easily. At first she thought it was normal given that being the superstar he was, it was inevitable to meet female co-workers who spots strong perfume. But when it became a smell Kyuhyun brings home every night, she begun to worry, prompting her to call Jonghyun which confirmed her suspicion.
Sungmin couldn't feel Kyuhyun's love for her anymore. Sungmin knew it must be because of that incident which happened to her a few weeks back because all these late-comings and coldness that Kyuhyun was showing her was right after that day. Even though Kyuhyun promised to love her no matter what happens but his action proved otherwise.
