La Petite Mort

So this is sort of a Spinoff based on my "A Bloody Valentine".
Yesung centered.

Word count: 1796
The air was heavy, the mood was low, people crawling over the floor like termites infecting an antique piece of furniture. There was a curve to his lip what could be mistaken easily for a look of disgust but not, he was smiling and he kept walking. They were filth to him, nothing more, nothing less, but he loved them and he cared for them. They were his children and he was their father providing them with popsicles and soda on that tuesday night right before dinner. Each beat to the music was like a sledge hammer to his brain, shattering and smashing his skull and brains into one big bloody mess. And he was going to let it continue.
Because he liked it. In fact, he lived for it.
A voice brought him from his train of thoughts and he turned to see a bright smiling face looking up at him, a short second before registered this familiar girl.
Sunny.
Unspoken words but she belonged to him, everyone knew it. No matter how many times per night she would get passed around she would always belong to him. Always.
“you cut your hair”
“Do you like it?”
“I guess”
She looked at him with a small pout before strutting of elsewhere and he kept his eyes at her. Her long, dark hair had been exchanged for a short blonde 'do framing her small round face perfectly.
She always sent life to spark in him, making a warm smile spread over his otherwise so mellow face, his black bangs falling a litte over his dark eyes. He kept his focus on her, a gaze that would cut through stone, bone and flesh. An allseeing eye as he paced his way to a couch, next to someone he probably knew but forgot the name of.
“When will you be leaving?”
“The minute she’s off work”
And the two men sat in silence and watched how this girl, this Sunny, who belonged to this man, this Yesung, walked away from the smoke and the crowd to a room, in the company of a man. Obviously looking to score.
And Yesung scoffed.
- -
Seventeen textmessages containing simple questions about stupid things. Which in this case meant that these people want something of Yesung’s. something worth dying for.
Cocaine.
And that was who he was, a college student dealing drugs with a prostitute for a girlfriend.
Living la vida loca.
He groaned as he turned over, there she was. In perfect stillness as nothing heaved but her chest in synch with her breaths, her eyes closed and her face somber.
A furrow to his brows and something resembling of a pout came across his face as he though of how she smelled. Male cologne. Not his.
She smelled like whore, sex and adultry. He never ever cared about it. Her life, her choices. but it was still not something he liked.
Tonight was a big night with a lot of important people showing up. He had to be there.
And so did she, right by him, always, passed around like currency.
It was already turning dark outside and he shook her roughly, pushing her off the bed where she whined in distress as she slowly got up. She was moving towards the bathroom like a walking dead, like the creature of the night that she was.
The twilight forced him to get up and look himself in the mirror, his heavy bangs shrouded his eyesight and he pulled a hand through the strands. A small sigh to his lips as he went to the bathroom. A silent agreement between two lovers. To do what must be done. No questions asked.
As the night before the large room was smoke infected and filled with servants.
A tall man stepped up to him and yesung smiled, he knew this face, an old... colleague.
"You're late"
"ssh, it will be fine"
"Boss is mad"
"I know"
"well, do you have the delivery?"
"I'll have it by tomorrow"
"That's not good enough"
The man growled and pushed Yesung out of his way, Yesung scoffed lightly and followed him with his eyes as he went up to Sunny.
And he frowned. Not in a cute way but more in an angry and mad "I will kill you" way.
He watched her giggle and flirt and accept a stamp from the man, letting it's hallucinogenic substances get absorbed by her saliva as she placed it on her tongue.
She shouldn't trust him. Yesung hardly trusted anyone, never accepted anything, everything had to be tested. Never by him but always tested.
Time progressed and events tumbled and Yesung found himself in a couch, slouching and laughing as he drew lines after lines. Wasted beyond borders and lost within his own mind, too lost to even notice Tyler's entrance.
The tall, thin man approached him and with a gesture of his hand made people move from his path. He took a seat right infront of Yesung and looked at him. Straight into his soul with those icy blue eyes as he spoke. A powerful, low voice and words well articulated.
"You have once again let me down, my dear Yesung"
"Yeah, sorry about that"
"Sorry isn't sufficient this time. We have been down this road before. You promise me a load and you fail to deliver it. Why is that?"
"Well, friend, you're not the only one in a pitch. My providers are failing me. So per ce they are failing you. And this discussion should be held with them, not me."
Tyler leaned back with a small smile over his thin lips, his stripy hair falling back.
"fair enough"
His eyes searched the room before he settled at Sunny, who just in that moment fell of off her chair laughing and snorting, also she lost in her mind. But in a very different place than Yesung.
Her reality was nothing like the others', it was bright and filled with odd shapes.
Shapes formed by her own senses.
"your girl seems to be enjoying herself"
"yeah, the big guy gave her LSD"
"Of course he did, maybe I should talk to her"
He quirked his brow up and observed Yesung.
"Don't you dare"
"what? so all these other guys get to touch her and use her, but not me, not your friend?"
"Exactly."
With a dark chuckle he rose from his seat, flashing Yesung a diabolical smirk before approaching the blonde girl on the floor, offering her a helpful hand and getting her back onto her feet, he slid a hand around her waist and leaned in to whisper in her ear.
Words unheard for Yesung as he sat quietly and watched, like a hunter waiting for the perfect moment to pull the trigger.
And just like that Tyler parted from her and two other men stepped up, a wide grin on his lips as he glanced back at Yesung. The two strange men pulled her with them, soft moans of resitance leaving her lips as she squirmed in their grip. And as Yesung paced up with fury in his eyes Tyler put a hard hand against his chest.
"Now now, at ease soldier. I'm just settling your debt"
"My debt?"
Tyler simply nodded and smiled, a soft smile as he nodded to the fellow men behind Yesung who swiftly came up and locked his arms behind his body, leaving him basically imovable.
"I won't hurt you friend." slowly he turned and followed the ones who pulled Sunny out into the dark night.
The parking lot was empty and the rain fell down heavily over them all, Yesung kept struggling and trying to fend them off, but these men were far too large for him to even stand a chance against. They pushed him to his knees and he looked up to catch Sunny's eyes, she was standing on her knees, a same manner as himself, 6-7 feet away from him.
"What are you trying to do here?!" His voice rumbled and he glared up at Tyler, a dark glimpse in his eyes as he smiled.
"Settling your debt, like I said"
And he turned his back to Yesung, walking up to the kneeling girl held tightly and running his fingers through her hair, a slight tilt to his head.
"Such a shame" He gripped her hair and stood behind her, pulling her head up and back as the moon reflected in the steel object he held in his hand.
Yesung's eyes widened and he pulled and yanked against the man. Cries of protest leaving his lips as he watched Tyler place the knife's edge against her throat. "You don't want to miss this". He grinned, a wide and evil smile, and Yesung screamed, a scream that would pierce all hearts and cut through the silence of the night like a nuclear attack.
The knife cut deeply and broke the skin easily. And blood poured. It was completely gushing with red, mixing with the water and rinning down her nacre skin and tarnishing her clothes. The knife made a small plunk as it hit the ground. The two men loosened their grip on Sunny's now lifeless body and she fell to the ground. The red still overflowing and his voice still crying loudly.
And then it was over, his body felt heavy against the concrete as he was let go and he crawled over to her, the men vanishing almost instantly along with Tyler. Leaving him crouching alone over this perfection now made tainted. He pulled her into his arms and held her close, retching and screaming as he tears streamed down his face and mixing with her blood. The night continued, the darkness remained and the water poured down over these two lovers torn apart by the same agreement that had kept them together.
And he wept, he wept to be so alone.
Yesung stared into the cup in front of him, people around him chattering. The noises turning into naught but a blur to the broken man on the violet velvet couch. A soft hand on his shoulder brought him back into the real world and he looked up for a blink of a second before turning his gaze back to the black liquid."What do you want to do?"As he answered his voice was weak, a whisper filled with devastation. He knew what he had to do. He had known for a while, he knew that the plenty wouldn't endure, he knew it would turn into a sickness. And were sickness thrives, dark things follow. He knew that the little death never was a match against the big death. La petite mort n'était pas si petit plus.
"I'm done. Finished""
