What a wondrous being. It's very touching, seeing one's child on the scan. It's even more divine to feel the child growing inside, kicking, even hiccuping. I'm so pleased for you and Fran...and the baby.
I want a picture! So exciting. Don't fight the sentimentals, this is all stuff you want to remember. Trust me on this, mine are still little, and I still swear it goes so fast. Enjoy everything, mull it over, annoy the crap outta Fran and keep checking her tummy for movement.
Come on, let me see his first picture.
With our third, I had ultrasounds in the office of my OBGYN because of some potential problems, and he always checked the gender for me. Always, the baby wouldn't cooperate, legs shut tight. I remember him cracking a joke, "well...if it's a girl, it's a very good girl". And me, being me, blurted out, "so unlike her mother" (our 3rd wasn't planned).
