My life, you guys, it is so sciencey. I have already conformed to a daily habit of going to class, working through waves upon waves of panic attacks and only mild understanding, going to the pub post-class with people in my program, and becoming mildly buzzed on cheap cider before 8 PM in order to avoid the fact that I am a devilish humanities ( Read more... )

it's probably a bad sign that i'm jealous of your ability to get "mildly buzzed." wtf? la la la i am sober and being sober is awesome except when it's not la la la.

i'm also jealous of your adventures in higher education. oh man oh man you mean i get to actually THINK in school in less than a year's time?? i am totally salivating here. IT'S BEEN SO LONG ;___;

prozac does nothing to alleviate number phobia. i can attest to this. your stats professor is a dirty liar.

No, being sober is AWESOME. Really. Truly. Stick with it m'dear! I have much more experience encouraging long-term sobriety in others than I would like, but yeah, do not be jealous.

Did you know I saw JButz give a talk? Because I did. And it was fabulous.
