The Price of Gas...

I don't know about all of you, but I live in California- and that means that everything and ESPECIALLY the price of gas is insane and unbelievable.

I drove past the gas station yesterday and gas was at 4.25.  4.25!!!!!

I actually saw a place in Santa Rosa today that was $4:31
I nearly crashed from looking at it.
We just joined Costco to get a little bit of a better deal..

yeah, I live in California as well and it is horrible. I also have to use my car sometimes for work stuff. I get reimbursed, but weeks later. A few days ago I put 60 miles on my car for back up calls, doesn't seem much, but that is two gallons of gas, which is 8.50. It is pretty scary.

I think it is like this all over the world now. In New Zealand, we pay $2 per litre - and this is unbelievable! It only was $1.88 two weeks ago

(Unfortunately I cannot work out the 4.25 ratio, I presume it is mpg, but it is very vague to me). NZD$2 is about USD$1.60
