Screw you livejournal!

I started a blog entry. It was a nice blog entry. I wrote about Kärpät and how they've been dominating in the Finnish League this year and their record breaking 17 game winning streak and about finally having a legit goalie, who is leading the league in every single category and all the other great things that have been going on with the team this ( Read more... )

UGH.

The same thing keeps happening to me! I have this random bug where where I get logged out of everything I'm logged into at once, including LJ. I have no idea what is causing it but it's SO annoying.

Persistent computer problems are the worst. Especially if you can't figure any reason for them.

I'm actually suspecting that there's a virus somewhere on my computer, with all the issues I've been having with it lately, but no matter how many times I scan it, I just can't find anything. Am actually considering just formatting my hard drive and re-installing my OS, that at least should get rid of what ever is causing these problems. If only it wasn't such a great big hassle to do that. :D

Hopefully your problem turns out to be something simpler and easier to fix!

I think my problem looks like more of an internet/router problem than an actual computer bug (at least I hope not!) I think the internet might be hiccupping and booting me off intermittently but I can't seem to figure out why, considering it happens to me both at home and at work...

If you can't find any viruses/malware, re-formatting may be the best idea. Sometimes if my computer gets slow and fussy, I also check to make sure all of my firmware is up to date. Hope it's nothing too bad. :(

I was cheering so hard for the Finns after they beat Canada. If Canada can't win I want Finland to, though I wasn't expecting it. But wowowow Ristolainen in overtime was especially outstanding!!

You have great priorities sir.

Pretty much no one believed Finland would win. Them even making it even as far as the medal round was somewhat of a surprise. The Swedes even had their victory party all planned out before the game, there were many comments about team Finland crashing it afterwards. :D

That overtime goal was such a beauty!

I had no idea the Wild were doing so poorly until I checked the other day. I'm praying to the Hockey Gods both they and Nashville make it in so I can get my dream WCF matchup of Minnesota and Nashville, and Shea Weber's misery. >:)

A playoff series between Minnesota and Nashville would be so awesome!

But I do really doubt that that's happening this season. So far the Wild are handing on to a possibility of making the playoffs by the skin of their teeth and with the injuries and considering they play almost only western teams this month not to mention having a lot of road games.. If they don't start doing better on the road than they have so far, I don't know if they'll still be in it by the Olympics.

And the Preds don't seem to be doing that much better. I guess they're really missing having Rinne out there? You don't happen to know if there' any word of when he might be getting back, btw, do you?

Who ever threw that wig on the ice deserves a hug or something. :D

I'm choosing to believe that Mikko will be back before then. I'm having hard enough accepting Saku not being there, even if that's more because of sentimentality issues rather than actual on ice reasons. So no, not ready to start dealing with even the possibility of Mikko missing the Olympics.

As for the team itself, I'm mostly okay with the choices, especially considering that there weren't really any better options out there. Barkov making the team was really great though. The biggest issue I have is them leaving out Bergenheim. Are we really supposed to believe that Aaltonen or Philström were the better options? SERIOUSLY?
