..and for the past couple of weeks my primary choice (When I haven't been working my ass off because I'm in line for a promotion at work) has come down to either sleep/surf the net/go out with friends/etc or watch Veronica Mars. As my absence and my new icon indicate, I tended to choose the latter

Anyway I still have to watch this week's Grey's Anatomy.
But mostly I find it ironic that as you are embracing VM I'm turning away.

Even better the answers aren't constantly drawn out and when they do come they're logical and yet somehow not quite what I expected.

That's a good way to put it. I really like the pace of the show, because they raise a lot of questions, and it's not easy to see how they all come together at first. But once they start answering questions, usually when you're not expecting them, things start to unfold at the perfect pace--enough that we have some answers and want some more.

I agree with what you said about the ships. I'm not a fan of Veronica and Duncan together, but I understand why she broke up with Logan and why she's with Duncan right now. They're not as annoying as they could be, though, because I know their relationship can't possibly last too long.

I'm glad you checked it out and like it. I know some people are turned off by the, uh, devoted fandom, but I don't find it difficult to stay away from craziness.

*g* Seriously, glad you're loving the show as much as so many of the rest of us do. Word on the GA love too. If it were up to me, it, VM and Prison Break would get all my Golden Globes.

I'm glad you're feeling the love for VM...I figured you would, since the last half of S1, in particular, is just awesome. And ITA about V/D and L/V...I understand why Veronica broke up with Logan, and I also understand why she's with Duncan, but I don't necessarily like it. Mostly, I want Veronica to be single for awhile now, but still be in a lot of scenes with Logan, because those two bring the snarky goodness.

And yeah, "If love were enough..." and then PD's voice breaking? So sad...I love that show.
