1) my ipod broke yet again. it frequently needs to be restored to its factory settings but now that i've upgraded to iTunes 7, the iTunes doesn't recognize it. I have decided to just send the damn thing back to Apple for repair. repair is free because it is still under warranty ( Read more... )

yeah I just bought a portable cd player two years ago...behind the times... Still no ipod although I am sure i would be addicted if I had one.ill probobly get one with my tax refund

I really just never digged the ipod design... it's always just seemed a little too "let's try to start a trend"y to me... which is I suppose how I've viewed mostly anything Mac in the past few years.

I went with a Samsung mp3 player after my Rio broke... best buy replaced it for free. Granted, I use one with less storage, but static memory / compact / lightweight / battery-life was key for me as I would be taking it backpacking / hiking.

I've also never completely understood the white headphone trend. But, whatever... I suppose some people don't understand my taco bell cravings. To each his and or her own.
