Such a flurry of commenting over the last post. I'll respond to some of the questions later today, I have to think about my response and how to explain it best. Oh, and the last PhD program is actually University of Southern California, not University of Southern University

AHH! USC!!! My high school teachers had a joke about how it's really the "University of Spoiled Children" It's practically in my backyard... well, 1.5-4 hours away (yes, traffic can be that bad or that good). From what I know about it it's a decent campus in one of the roughest areas in LA... But, I'd invite you to come to the San Diego Zoo for free every summer!
