the first pic is great, just like your last set. the lights and the darks, and the sharp, rough texture on everything.
the second pic seems okay monochrome, but green seems an odd choice for it, especially with the oil cans. maybe if you tried a sepia tone, or an unsaturated or narrow color scheme.
the third pic is the weirdest use of green of all. but, if it's art, i guess that's good. it makes the real outdoor scene look abstract, if you just look at the shape of the lighter parts. i guess it's like if you took a pic with a blue sky, and made the whole scene blue.. the eyes identify some realism and expect real color for the rest.
I get the impression that in the 2nd pic, people see the Mobil logo and expect something redish, because the logo is red. I think if they were some brand that was not so well known, or was rusted beyond identification, the picture wouldn't look odd in green. The cans around those and the tar bucket in the back don't look strange to me at all, it's just the Mobil cans.
The 3rd one honestly doesn't fit the pattern. I admit that. I wanted people to see the place from the outside though, and this one worked better than all the others. I wanted to include it in the set, and as such, be the same color scheme. I played with it for a long time before I settled for the levels it's at.
