Mind flay is channeled though. It is a DoT..

So its more like

Mind flay hits you for 45000

Mind flay can't crit =(

Arcane missles is the only channeled spell that can. It's sucktastic.

You obviously don't play a priest hardcore. You forgot the Shadow Word: Pain and the Psychic Scream, both of which are applicable =)

Didn't feel either applied to the situation as well. I think mind flay can crit though...hm..

Pretty sure I've been crit by it before, but no idea. Nerf shadow priests anyway ;)
