FUN. Lucky you. (I'm being sarcastic, which I guess is somewhat hard to tell online.)
When I was in sixth grade (right after 9/11) we had about a month where we had bomb threats at least every-other day, which meant standing out in the mud and the wind and not being allowed to talk for hours while they searched the school, or evacuating to the nearest church. Not fun.
yeah we just had another bomb threat in mid-december, which isn't quite as often as every other day, but it's still annoying. and in early december we had a gas leak, so we were evacuated then too and it was cold then too. and before that we had like 1000 fire drills because we had a new building and it kept having mysterious electric problems.
I imagine they probably let the high schoolers talk (I'm guessing they couldn't stop them), but they made the elementary/middle school kids be quiet.
And that really stinks, although I suppose to some extent it's fun? Last year on the last day of school someone pulled the fire alarm, so my AP Enviro class played duck-duck-goose and telephone for about an hour and a half. The year before that, during the AP Econ exam somebody pulled the fire alarm, so we all had to leave the test and all the teachers surrounded us so we couldn't talk about the exam, which was kinda amusing because they were all freaking out about the AP rules in that instance and we were worried that they'd make us retake the test.
i actually believe 11:11 is more like "how do you know you're getting your period" omg 11:41
good time frame! i figure i probably left campus around 1:10, maybe 1:15. i was kind of really happy because the bomb sniffing dogs just took a quick sniff in my trunk so no slobber or hair is in my car!! i wonder what would have happened if somebody was like deathly allergic to dogs. they would probably have a bracelet tag or something, maybe? hmm i wonder!
i love how kids were being so mean to the teachers even though the teachers were being incredibly nice and helpful the entire time. seriously. except koloski made fun of me but that's in his job description :-)
