Okay, so I actually know the answer to this, but it needs to be asked anyway. It's frustrating. Since being here, people keep asking me to audition for their things (a cappella groups, shows). So I do. Then they don't let me in. Why do you practically beg me to audition for you and then not cast me? It's dumb. Especially since I knew it would

College a cappella auditions are a crap shoot. Lots of singers show up, and the people running things usually have very little time and information with which to make decisions. I was rejected by no fewer than four a cappella groups at Berkeley, some of those multiple times!

But anyone who's genuinely talented (which you certainly are) will eventually find their musical niche. Just keep trying stuff that seems interesting to you.

Yeah, the a cappella stuff was in the beginning of the year (I win- I was rejected by 5). I did get into glee club which I love though. This entry was more about a show I just auditioned for. It's a freshman-only thing too so not that many people auditioned, so it's even worse that I couldn't get in.
