Yay for you! Have fun and relax, hon....as for discipline, I don't know what to suggest. some of that is too dependent on the disciplinarian being comfortable with what he/she is doing, and part of it has to do with the kids themselves, so it's hard.
Rewarding works...but I've noticed that sometimes it almost makes it worse because the kids get all giddy (especially the middle school) and talk more. The BFG would almost be a viable alternate.
Usually the threat of "talking to Ms. Rhea (the middle school director)" about their behavor works. Usually. Sometimes I wish throwing the eraser like Norton's old band director was something that wouldn't get you sued :)
