How can I like someone who can't notice me

It's true. Sometimes, I feel like I try so hard to get even a notice, and all for not.

I honor his wishes. I will remain his friend,  but.. last night.. He pulled me in all over again. I found myself craving his look.. His smile..

Today was an off day for him.. He didn't really talk to any of us, and he secluded himself from us when we ate.
