I give blood because my dad needed a lot when he was really young, but this is the first time I've heard of anything recent and so close to the proverbial home. I can't give until Feb 28th but I'll tell my other friends to go as soon as possible. A lot of bastard folks totally shrug it off, and assume that we got all the blood we need, but they're stupid.

aww~ thanks. its such a good thing to do, but i totally understand with people who are afraid of that stuff. but, yea, the people that just assume they don't have to go cuz its not necessary (and aren't afraid of the process)... ,,|,, :D
