My dad has had a pair of UGG boots for like 10 years. He wears them when lounging around the house.

He's mad now that they've become all trendy, because it means that in a couple years when they're out of style, it will just look like he's wearing boots that are so-last-year, even though he's had 'em for 10 years. :P

i also have a pair of them courtesy from my auntie in aussie who gave them to me a couple of years ago. I wear them around the house because they are warm and soft, but yeah i don't understand the appeal of wearing them outside.

Yeah, they are lame; not really because of who wears them, because I really don't care, but they are so overdone. My mom has a pair from many years ago (100!!) but they are size 8.5 so I can't wear them.

Also, those boots make your feet so warm, I think it would be uncomfortable to even wear them in the winter, so I really don't understand how all deze grrls are wearing them during spring/summer.
