here we are. i am bored and need to start reading the scarlet letter and the crucible for english next yr. but being bored is infinetly preferable to that.
seeing ppl you havent seen for a yr and a half working at the grocery store is just odd.
my dads cousin is coming down tomorrow with his little brat. should be a blast. :(

EEGADS scarlet letter NAD the crucible... that is just to many historical novels... when do we get to read the good shit in school. I think that Beowolf should be replaced by "Eaters of the Dead" just so you know.

p.s. I rember the crucible being incredibly long and made for some good nap sessions. the scarlet letter was pretty good though... right up my alley. whatever that means.

havent read the crucible yet but the intro to the scarlet letter got me frustrated enough to nearly soak the book in lighter fluid and burn it. especially since the author said how pointless it was more than once. i havent read beowolf yet but ive heard good things about eaters of the dead.

The Crucible is OK. I'd rather read that than Jane Erye or Wuthering Heights.

a lot of people said the crucible is better than the scarlet letter. and my mom's been trying to get me to read jane eyre. i guess i should now since i have a second opinion =)
