Assignment

I just got my assignment for my Permanent Duty Station. If I can't switch with anybody, then by November 1st I'll be stationed in Maryland. A whole 6 hours from home. I'm a little disappointed. I joined the military in part to see new places, so it would kind of suck to be so close to home. On the bright side, it would be a lot cheaper to come home

You can still see the world! Aaaaaand... I'm only two hours away, AND I'll have a car. I think maybe we should hit up the nightlife in DC??

I'm going to get a car, too! And absolutely for the night life, because by then I'll be old enough to go out! I'm still going to try and see if I can switch with anyone for overseas, but who knows what will happen. It's all so exciting!
