I've been sitting here for at least five minutes now starting at the little white comment box, trying to figure out how I'm going to possibly be able to properly articulate how much I love this. I think there's really not any way I can. But I love this. So much. Incredibly much.

Your Reid and JJ are just beautiful. And your writing? Lyrical and concrete at the same time; you blend gorgeous language with this amazing, realistic physicality. And your eye for detail is bar none.

The way you not only show JJ's fear, but also why it's significant and why she responds with anger, is stunning. I love that we glean more about Reid's condition from the way he looks, the way he moves, and the perfectly chosen and rendered details of his apartment (the food, the notes, the cleanliness of the bedroom and the disaster of the rest of the place) than we do from anything he says. The last two paragraphs, in particular, are lovely and so powerful.

As everyone else has said, this is just wonderful. &hearts

Drugged-up!Reid is always really difficult for me, so I take comfort that he came across all right.

"JJ?" His voice is odd. Thick. It's an actual question, like he's not positive it's her. Like she might not be here, real, touching him.

omg. this was perfect. there were no declarations of love bc there need not be any with them. this is the way i see my otp. they don't need to kiss, make love, fuck. it's a better understanding than that (although, of course, they do later on). but first they understand each other and hold each other.

this was fucking perfect. A+++

Aww, thank you so much; you're very kind. This is the way I see them, too -- they don't need to say a lot, because there is this lovely, quiet understanding between them, even (maybe even especially) when things aren't going that great. Ha.

Hmmm... this bit took me a couple of hours, but only because it's exactly what the muse wanted me to do, haha. I had it all written in my head before I actually wrote any of it down. When that happens, it goes quickly... but when I have to fight with something, forget it. Ugh.
