Title: Toast and Other Romance Languages Pairing: Reid/JJ Prompt: you can have this heart to break via cm_het_drabble Rating: PG Warnings: Toast? And buttery-thick schmoop. One naughty word.
OMG. Okay. So. The animal killing? *shudder* Like you said -- I can stare at a decapitated dude with his tongue on a plate all day long, but the second you even mention an animal, forget it. I was cringing from the word "cat," and it was not cute. That episode where the two foster brothers use the dead cat ruse? ACK ACK ACK! Cannot handle it.
Anyway!
Reid and his Bouncing Leg of Nervousness & Twitchy Face of Heartbreaking Pain was amazing. He was also pretty badass in his whole knocking-the-dude-over-the-head thing. But what I don't get is, like you said -- WTF? Randomly remove your vest and go off on your own? Because you haven't had 109312083120 experiences where that turned out poorly, right? *dramatic eyeroll*
I rather liked the weird chanting scene, and I rather liked the weird chanting guy.
I also rather liked the cut of Emily's shirt. *ahem*
Not!JJ was useless but not that annoying since she wasn't around much; Hotch was lovely in his paternal concern, and I really liked the whole mood of the ep

PS: What did you think of the ep? Despite the abhorrent lack of as-promised!Elle, haha...
