I'm firmly on Team Haymitch. Theirs was by far the most interesting relationship in the books.

I agree 1000000%. I think Haymitch is probably the most complicated/interesting character in the whole thing, and he and Katniss' emotional makeups are startlingly similar. IDK. GOOD STUFF.

Hello you! Good to see you're still kicking about and still attracted to the twisted and difficult! Personally my HG pairings all involve Peeta (& it took ages for me to understand the Ron/Peeta parallels and twig that I was walking my usual old path as well).

Awwww, Peeta. I liked the whole idea of Peeta... I think she could've done a lot more with his character. Which, I guess, is why fandom steps in to save the day ;) I do see the similarities with Ron, though! Never thought about it til now. It's interesting what we see about ourselves in seeing who/what we're drawn to in fandom life ;) No matter how content I am in my own life, I think I'll always have a penchant for the twisted and difficult ;)

I love Peeta. I can see why Gale is attractive but... I'm totally Team Peeta ;) Which, considering that I have always admitted to being head over heels for Ron Weasley, probably isn't surprising. ;)

And I wish I could direct you to some! I hate to say it, but I've yet to find any that strikes the right chord for me. I've found a couple that sort of approximate it, but... I'm still searching for something that makes me go "WOW!"
