*fans self* Scenarios like this have been playing in my head ever since Deception, one of the many times I thought it should have been Wilson, not Cameron XD

Fantastic. May need to illustrate...

This was lovely. I've never been on a bike, as a passenger or a driver, but I can easily see myself doing everything Wilson did and a few more things, such as ending up on the ground. *giggle* I love how House didn't exactly state that he and Wilson are together, but he made it pretty clear all the same. *smirk* If House were my teacher, I'd love to learn, but somehow I doubt Wilson would like that. Bravo!

Thank you! And you are seriously missing out. Find yourself a bike friend! Heck, come here and I'll give you a ride.

Well, I know several people who ride bikes, but we're not close enough for me to hitch a ride. *grin* Definitely not like House and Wilson. *smirk*

I never realized that Wilson + bike could be such a turn-on. -.o I think there may be something wrong with the wiring in my brain. Your fic is spot on, though. Perfect!

Hee, thanks sweetie. If it's any consolation, I'd love to find a girlfriend (or boyfriend) who would want to learn again.

I'd love to have someone teach me. How far are you from Seattle? Do we have to be dating first? Can I woo you with burgers and beer?

About two days' drive, unfortunately. And I can't eat burgers. You had me at beer, though!

As a rider myself, I want to thank you for representing female riders in your fic. There's not enough of us around!

Great description of Wilson learning to ride, killing the engine, being all wobbly. Too cute! I can see why House would be turned on watching him.

Loved the last few lines of this story- hee!

Just being nitpicky here but House's CBR1000RR is actually bigger than the 800 Vulcan. *cringes* sorry. I shouldn't even mention it but I felt I had to.

We need more bike stories!

No kidding!

Now see, I went looking EVERYwhere trying to find just what size that CBR was. Repsol's website was NO help whatsoever, and neither was Honda.ca. I decided to go with the more common (around here at any rate) 750 size. Although I have a friend who bored his out to 900, so there ya go. Thanks for that, I'll remember it for next time. And console myself with the fact that my Vulcan is almost as big as House's Honda, but bigger than HL's Triumph. How's that? And is that a VMax in your picture?

No kidding! Yeah, I've been riding for about 30 years now. Geez, I'm showing my age... anyway, grew up with dirt bikes, raced some motocross then graduated to street bikes, working my way up in size.

They actually do make the Repsol in a 750 too, but that one's the 1000. Don't worry about it. Just trying to help! Glad you weren't mad about me commenting on it.

A Vulcan- nice! Great cruiser bike. Very comfortable too. I have a problem fitting on sport bikes because I'm so short (5'3") Cruisers just fit better.

Good eyes! Yes, it is a Vmax. I've wanted one since I was about 18 which was a loooong time ago. Finally got it about 7 years ago. My dream bike.

It's funny. I actually get guys on Harleys come up to me and say they're afraid of my bike. Hee!

20 for me, I'm 38. I did what you did, minus the dirt bikes. I learned on a DT125, then owned a Kaw 250 LTD, then a 440 LTD, then a GS550L, then I bought a Honda V45 basket case. Literally a basket case, it was a frame, two wheels and four laundry baskets full of parts! I spent a winter putting it together and then drove that bike for YEARS. Then I sold it (dumb) and bought my brother's Intruder (dumber). Actually I liked the bike, but when it was just me and two kids I didn't have any time to ride, and when I had time I didn't have a babysitter, or money, so it sat for quite a long time. Finally I put the effort into fixing it enough to sell and bought myself the Vulcan. My kids are now 14 and 12 and can fend for themselves while I go out riding ( ... )
