I just read a jealous!Wilson fic elsewhere, and now here's a lovely jealous!House fic to complement it. I loved the scene with the waiter. Very well written.
he saw visions of his fantasies, his late night bedtime stories
Hilarious! Awesome. Excellent.
And to the above comments regarding differences in Am. and Br. grammar/spelling, I add my two pence. (See what I did there? I used British monetary units to make the patient feel more comfortable.) While I appreciate British (and Canadian, I guess) spellings and try to use them when I can remember them (the ou stuff is easy, but oe and ae? those letters don't go together in that order!), I like to see American spellings in House fic. Jeeves and Wooster fic should use British terminology and spelling. ... Anyway... "elastic band" is usually "rubber band" here. There are benefits to being American... like when we have to study our country's history, we only have to go back to the late 15th century. And... um... we... don't have to see pictures of the royal family on every tabloid cover... That's good, right? Who am I kidding? British grammar makes much more sense than American.
Why did I add that comment? Oh yeah! Because I love this story!
