so christmas came early this year....last sunday to be exact. needless to say i am in love all over again with the new rock band game. most of the changes are all minor but awesome and i only have a few tiny complaints. i can go into more detail if anyone cares but the short of it is this is more reasons why i love this game and get nothing done

well i love the new drum layout for overdrive, but i miss my crash cymbal for dicking around during stuff like Behind Blue Eyes. I love that they gave bass it's own set of effects. i'm not completely sure but i think they closed the timing window somewhat as in how far off EXACTLY hitting the note in time you can be. at first i thought it was a lag issue but the more i play the more it seems like it's a timing issue. also they altered the angle of the ramps just enough that the notes feel a bit more squeezed together. The drum trainer is fucking awesome though. being able to make and substitute all your band members is great. So far i've played Freestyle drums to Foo Fighters, Gorillaz Audioslave and a bunch of other stuff on my hard drive and it's by far my favorite feature.

Wow... I missed before where you were going to grab the Ion. Did you manage to find a good deal at least?

Btw, I never did remember to thank you for the little trinkets! That Boo stylus is awesome!

preordered it from ion so not really. but i scraped together the money ahead of time so it's not going to stay on my card for too long and accumulate interest.
