I always hated the idea of friends-only but with online journaling being so popular now, I'm not comfortable writing much that's worthwhile anymore so a faceless internet audience.

yeah, you never know who might drop by. plus, i guess i have the added need for security if i'm ever mentioning teaching/classroom stuff. and of course, mainly, i want to keep derek out! ;-)

Ahaha, yes. At first I felt bad about shutting Greg out of this one because we'd been reading each other's journals for so long; but now he barely even reads LJ anymore, plus it's silly to think that we don't need little privacies from our significant others, especially when it comes to writing for you and me.
