Uuuugh footbinding. Oh, why.

Do you always paint on cloth? It must be really hard.

Well, I thought it was interesting that Cinderella gets singled out because she has the tiniest feet. I thought a Chinese footbinding take would be an extreme interpretation of the story (also a dark one). By contrast, Chinese art/imagery would be beautiful to play around with stylistically, but again it's a project for another day.

It's hard when it turns out looking dumb like this ;) ha ha ha. I mean, I can do better, but the handling on those sewing machines really screwed the stitch work on these up. Actually painting onto cloth is quite nice, I mean, canvases are just stretched cloth so it's the same thing :)

Very good points. Now I want to see it!

I'm super dumb. I always forget that canvases are cloth.

Maybe later this year, when I can devote some proper time to it :) You're not dumb, ah, canvases are usually stretched and primed with a white base coat so they are different from raw cloth, I don't know why I said that. Untreated cloth is more absorbent I guess, like paper :)
