So, I have carpal tunnel due to a terrible workplace. As such, I haven't updated this in a while, despite the fact that I have tons of free time now. I have, on the whole, been doing well. My major emotional challenge these days comes from watching politics, and the amazing amount of cognitive dissonance and suspension of logic/belief being demonstrated by certain factions therein.

This is probably why I haven't written anything in my LJ in close to a year. When I sit down to type my thoughts, I freeze in a depressed state of blah. And I know the situation isn't really as hopeless and daunting as I feel it is. At least that's what I keep saying to myself.

Agreed. After reading Jensen, I've resolved to only write fiction to get across my frustrations with the current political climate. Hopefully I'll be able to take a creative writing class this fall before going back to CSUMB for a writing major. Good to hear from you!
