It looked to Cuddy like Stacy was just getting started on her day as well which made Cuddy feel a little less...pathetic. At the same time, it increased her concern. It had been so awkward the previous evening and even though Stacy had left before the worst of House's--and her own--anger it still couldn't have been a pleasant experience for Stacy. And now Stacy knew that House and Cuddy were together and she had no idea how Stacy would feel about that.
Awkward was pretty much still the status quo, but at least she felt like she could discuss the situation with Stacy. Unlike House, Stacy was unlikely to go off in irrational bursts of anger. She hoped.
"So...are we still on for lunch?" Cuddy asked.

She threw another nervous glance at House's door. She hadn't talk to him yet about what happened the previous evening--she wanted to give him plenty of time to cool off before she tried. The last thing she needed was for him to see her and Stacy talking which would probably set off another hissy fit.
"Ready?" she asked, looking back at Stacy.
