So we moved to the United Kingdom from Canada in July. We're here for three years and then back we go. I'm loving it so far - no job yet, but that's alright. There's still plenty to keep me busy. Dear M Night Shymalan:
Regarding The Last Airbender, your casting choices stink and are incomprehensible. Your dialogue was awkward and stilted. Your cinematography was corny and cliched. And, you managed to butcher the atmosphere and characters by sucking all the joy and humour out of my favourite cartoon. I am beyond disappointed. -
Sengoku Strays
I found a new manga to adore!! (Scansalations by Storm in Heaven,www.unblessed.net/SiH/manga.php) It's called Sengoku Strays and is about a girl (kendo superstar) with an iron will who gets transported to the warring states period of Japan. I fell in love with the first chapter and am waiting for more. I like the premise (a cute twist on a classic ( Read more... ) -
Monty Oum's Dead Fantasy
i know these videos are so ... last year, but I just re-watched them and found them a super-duper way to procrastinate.They're well-made (in my opinion) videos of the final fantasy and DOA girls battling it out. The fight scenes are just awesome.

I shouldn't be bored but I am anyway. There is a pile of things for me to do (including but not limited to cleaning the house, doing the laundry, working on job-stuff) but I just don't feel like doing anything but sitting around. Traumatizing Children through Books - what WERE they thinking?!
I read a funny (and sad) top-ten list today about the worst books for children in history! I couldn't believe they actually existed.
