Oh my dear I know EXACTLY how your feeling. Trust me...it gets better. For me what worked was when he would start putting me down thinking I would stop standing up for myself and I didnt. I just kept on going and kept standing up for myself until I won, thats maybe what you should try even though you may feel that it wont work or that your not strong enough.

Don't let him put you down. BTW...your NOT a pushover!!!! I have known pushovers...you my lovely are NOT one of them.
