Dissension Pre-Release

On Saturday I got up bright and early to head over to Neutral Ground and play in the Dissension Pre-Release. A few minutes after 8am they let the ravenous hordes (i.e.- us) into the store, and I registered for my first flight. I get an awesome pool, and I end up in U/G/B with a small red splash for Wrecking Ball and Cackling Flames. My Simic pool

Heh. who opens pack?!? not me

I didn't open a dissention pack, just what i had extra from filling out my draft sets.

Yeah, I figured I'd be one of the few to actually crack open my Dissension packs rather than draft with them... The thing is so many of our friends got 1 or 2 boxes last weekend for working as judges, so I don't think there'll be any shortage of packs to draft with. Mark, Sean and Dan got boxes, as well as other people, so I'm not too worried.

And even assuming the worst, it's not like it'll kill me to not draft the full block until Dissension is officially released, since I'm not going to Prague or anything, :-).

I never thought I'd say this again, though, but I really frickin' love Ravnica Limited. Such a good/fun format!
