I deactivated my FB account a week or so ago... ego-stroking can become addictive and ultimately unsatisfying. I do miss having someone to talk to. So... here I am.

Weirdly I check in on LJ several times a week, despite not posting in 3 years and rarely commenting. FB is the devil, this place is deadish. Reddit is fun but not for building relationships. So, hi!

Hi! Yeah, it's sad to me that none of my friends write journals here anymore... it felt so personal... like a little window into their souls. Facebook is just not the same.
