And this is why they taught us to NEVER let go of our metallic balloons near power lines as children. Or at the very least to make sure the string was wound up more in our hands than the full length.

The guy that walked under the sparking and loose bits is rightfully in violation of ALL common sense.

Saw any other interesting stuff at the fair?

There were a fair number of hipster/bohemian type clothing stalls, mostly recycled stuff. One had a very nice velvet coat with a hood I would have liked to buy though, and I was very put out that someone had had the gall to take scissors to a lovely silk blouse and chop the sleeves off to make it 'trendy'. Other than that there were some very nice trinkets, jewelry, handmade cosmetics and soaps and I would have quite happily walked away with a fire staff if I had the money for it.
