Haven't done this for a while

I need to get back into writing, so here's the challenge to the f-list:

Give me a prompt -  2-5 characters and a theme- and I'll give you a drabble in return. Transformers G1, Captain Scarlet (or if you'd like a crossover, feel free to suggest it and I'll give it a go as long as I know what the other show is;) )

Have at thee!

"You study sleep as a hobby?" Captain Blue gazed up at the tall mechanical being.

Prowl nodded once, crouching down to be closer to the human's level. "Yes. As Autobots, we do not require REM sleep as you do. It is...fascinating."

While the two began debating the science of dreaming, the Autobot CMO lumbering over to add his two cents to the discussion, Scarlet, looking distinctively uncomfortable to anyone who knew him well enough to read him, glanced about for the nearest exit.

His unique metabolisim had garnered enough... uncomfortable attention on his own version of Earth as it was. He didn't trust these aliens to give them even a hint of how different he was to his companion. Perhaps he was being xenophobic, but his last encounter with aliens had made him skittish of trusting any others.

LOL! I see Scarlet slowly making his way to the door then booking it as soon as he's able. :D

Scarlet: My first alien encounter was when they killed me. Forgive me if I'm somewhat wary around other aliens.

When he had first skimmed the accompanying blurb to the material he had been presented with Megatron had rather seriously entertained thoughts of stuffing the offending datapad down the air intake of one of Starscream's jet engines and throwing the jet off the Darkside's landing tower. But, after a long period of consideration, he decided to read the file anyway- from the complete privacy of his quarters that was. The base was strangely quiescent at the moment and it could be of either some small amusement or yet another reason to revile the local organic populace ( ... )

Ha, ha, I LOVE it. I really like Megatron's last thought; it really tied this together so well. Anyone who's read Watership would get just how serious the book is, despite being about bunnehs, and for me that just makes Megatron's response all the more chilling. Because I think he gets it. And somehow, the idea of him holing up in his lair and scribbling notes on the enemy -- ie, us -- is sort of scary.

Nicely done. :)

Stalkerish scary or psychopath scary or some combination of that and more?

Thanks! Heh, not so bad for someone who only knows the book from the Wiki blurb.
