Here Comes the Judge!

Fun morning! I was a judge at a Toastmasters contest. The contestants had all won previously in their own area division so this was the best of the best -- and they certainly lived up to that. You were a judge there??? How cool! I had a book signing that afternoon...otherwise I would've gone to cheer my fellow club member on (and just to hear some really wonderful speeches!)

Next time there's a contest (Fall, probably) you should volunteer to be a judge. Or a ballot counter. Or something! We could go together. The speeches were all great -- I think Phil is from your TM group. His speech about fallen military members gave me goosebumps. I hope you had a great booksigning!

I don't know if I'm in any position to judge other people's speeches, but ballot counter sounds like a good job. I could handle that! I DEFINITELY want to go!!!
