I mean, Reese Witherspoon shapes the world??? Heh, the list makes more sense when you realise that Time and Who/People magazines are published by the same mob. Time also now has an "entertainment" section, which is a cut down mini-version of Who in the back of it - surprisingly Who doesn't appear to have gained a mini-politics/world analysis section in the back. A pity really, it'd go well with the sudoku.

The poll asks how influential the people are: nowhere does it specify they have to be a good influence.

George W. Bush, for example, has certainly helped shape the world: with his contributions to climate change and rising sea levels; his disregard for New Orleans before, during and after Hurricane Katrina; the number of extra graves in American military cemeteries; etc.

Influential for being nice to look at (according to the article link, anyway)? Didn't they miss Jessica Alba and Scarlet Johansson?
