After making sure that Veles was still actually alive and kicking, Lioriley took the directions Ichigo had given her and headed toward the clinic. Once she found it again, she stood outside for a few minutes, just staring at the building like she was hoping it would do something interesting. Ichigo and Shiro both seemed displeased by how much she had changed, while she herself took little notice to the differences in her demeanor. True, she knew that she was not as cheery and optimistic as she had once been, but she didn't think it was so blatantly obvious that they looked at her like she was an entirely different person.
Finally, she stepped toward the door and knocked, shoving her PORTAL back into the pouch on her hip and then awkwardly fiddling with her hair. Suddenly she was nervous, like seeing Ichigo in person would make things worse. Like he would really see the differences up close. She could only hope that wasn't the case.
