Friendly Reminder - Day 3, 4, and 5

[Aqua only had a vague idea where Sora's heart was, especially now that he began running off. All she could do was corridor to where she once sensed it when she connected their hearts via Dimension Links and go from there.

The Darkness made it harder, but she sought it out - the Heart she connected to however briefly, the one so much like-- the thought ended in a choked sob as she searches after it on her Glider, only finding him far later than she expected and Light only knows how many reanimati and locusts she shot down from above.]

Sora. [Concern, worry; that's all she can reflect in the almost-motherly tone for her student.] Sora, please talk to me.

[The emotions are seeping through the Link, however muted they might be due to the calming presence it normally gives.]

[ he hides his face, wondering if this is what his best friend felt when he said he couldn't face everyone. Sora didn't feel like he could, either. why did he look like a Heartless? and why didn't he remember it? and why had he stuck by that guy's side?!

the teneka could only pick up a various swarm of negativity, even when he tried to be positive. his mind could only swim back to it. ]

I'm sorry, Master Aqua.

['Remember: the darkness lurks in every Heart. Darkness is our foe. Whether we could be rid of it... Give it no quarter in your Heart.' She hears those words echoing in her head, remembers her Master's teachings so vividly, but something inside her screams in protest. She can't explain it, either, outside of the fact that three of the people so close to her have such strong presences of Darkness within them.

The negativity from someone usually so bright and joyous is like a knife to the heart.

It doesn't take her much longer to find him, and when she does, she drops from the sky behind him, armor vanishing before she just...wraps her arms around her apprentice. She doesn't know that it was that she saw, but she wasn't going to allow it to make her think any less of him.] ...What is darkness, but fear and hate?

[Any monster that would appear will suddenly find themselves bursting into flames of a Mega Flare spell. ...She can sense it, maybe not a clearly as her Master would, but he's hurting. She can't just sit by and let him stay

[ startled out of fighting, his raised Keyblade slowly drops and he sniffs, trying not to let tears be shed. he breathes harshly, his chest feeling like it's going to burst again before he just holds onto her. his blooded hands hold onto her arms, not pulling her away, but trying to hold onto her and keep her comfort with him. ]

[She just keeps holding him, not caring at all about more blood getting onto her. It would wash off eventually, and Sora was more important than her physical appearance. Her student. Her sweet, sweet apprentice. The comfort wasn't about to leave him any time soon, even as mines explode around them as monsters near. She's silent for a long while, aside from causing the Shield Mines respawning, but after a while...]

We're in danger out here, and you look worn out. We should go somewhere safe. [Aqua doesn't doubt his abilities; she knows what he is capable of, yet in his current state it just isn't a good idea for him to be fighting.]

[ he lets out a quiet murmur that's obviously one of protest. he just wants to stay safe. near the Light. so he has no, no, no chance of being dark again. he can't handle it like Riku can. he's not that ... strong. but he gently nods. ]

[She wouldn't be leaving his side, being just as exhausted as he is.It's also impossible even for a Master to protect him from his own darkness while protecting him from everything else. A small orb of light, and then a summoning of all her strength as she summons Master Keeper to her hand again.] I won't leave your side, alright?

[It echoes as she keeps him close. The mansion is closest, and she just doesn't have the energy to teleport or Glider over right this minute. Maybe after a few minutes' rest she'll be able to help defend it.]

[ he nods slowly and for a moment, he squeezes her hand as he tries to give her a reassuring smile.

because he has to save everyone, so he might as well get used to smiling for them in the light of the darkness. even when he's part of that darkness. ]

[Says the one who escaped that darkness, while she's still trapped inside, judging by the mirror.

Still, she smiles faintly back, sharing her light to help ease her apprentice's heart. No matter how close he gets to that edge, there would always be a hand to help him back up again - even if it was one who was also stuck in a similar position. Aqua is silent as they walk aside from the repeated pauses to cast Barrier over both of them when the monsters got too close. One thing's for sure, they weren't too thrilled about the explosions in counterattack.]

[ and when Aqua takes a split second to cast, he casts Reflect. because he won't let her protect them alone, not until they make it to the mansion, no matter how close it is. ]

[destinedwaters]

[She gives a faint laugh. Barrier and Reflect... No creature will get through the double-shield explosion. Soon though, they arrive.]

[ she's laughing... that's good. he relaxes considerably once at the mansion, flagging again. ]

[True to her word, she will remain by him for as long as he wishes. ...Maybe casting Sleep if he refuses to get at least some rest. Going all out for goodness knows how long can't be good for controlling that inner darkness.]

[ it really isn't.

sorry if he stubbornly doesn't let go of your hand when he falls asleep, Aqua.

he's not used to sleeping alone now. ]

[It's fine by her. At least he's getting some rest...
