I always use "stripey," but I think either is correct, since it's a made-up word, isn't it? The grammatically correct way would be to say, "striped" (I say "stripe-id" but that's probably arcane and technically incorrect). But if you're going to say or write or type this cute silly word, I definitely spell it "stripey."

I'd go with "stripey" also.

For some reason I feel like I should pronounce "stripy" as "strippy" and that doesn't really fit the cute thing haha

If you're just going for something cute, I'd pick the more symmetrical and visually appealing one: Stripey. The juxtaposition of the "p" and the "y" in stripy make it look unbalanced. I think that's why we're all gravitating toward stripey. (Although now that I've written it out, Firefox is saying, also, that stripey is incorrect whereas stripy is correct.)

And I like seeing that I'm not the only one who makes posts like this. Hee. :D
