I love the pattern (I've been thinking of doing something very similar myself). What was the pattern layout?
I love the contrast between the two sides of the black and white belt and the way the buckles compliment the colours.
I like the finish as well. I think you've a few rows of decreasing (by turning warp into weft) and then done a reef knot with the side warp threads that encloses the centre warp threads. Am I right? I'll be interested to learn how the knot stands up to wear and tear.
I see you own an eyelet maker. I hadn't thought of using one of those (no really close craft shops - I need to get out more...) Looks like a really good idea.
How well do the eyelets grip the thread? Do you think there is any danger of them working loose?
