yesterday i met a boy. a boy with a beautiful girlfriend. But let me tell you: in another life we were destine. I wonder if it is possible to be destined but in another universe. something parallel. I mean... doesn't that sound like we are actually NOT destine. Cause if we were, fate would make it happen. right? Is destiny limited to one dimention

You bring up some interesting questions at the begining of this post. I think that if one were to assume that fate exists, and then one were to assume the existence of other possible worlds one must consider how closely related the other possible worlds are. We can, of course, think of a possible world in which the two of you are, in fact, destined for one another. But in that case it would be hard to say its destiny more than just the outcome of infinite possibilities. Much like the possible world in which I very much dislike cheese.
Now, there are possible worlds in which you are not exactly like you and the same for him. This makes me wonder if fate, were it to exist, would still apply to the two of you if you were not the same. I suppose there are some identity issues here as well.
This may be a can of worms that is simply too big for livejournal. Maybe this can be solved in person?

aahhh...so cute. i know that feeling. perhaps you are destined...and just now right now. you aren't looking for anything, and he isn't either...perhaps taht's the way it's supposed to be, until a later time. agh. cute. miss you! i'm looking for jobs/roommates with an extra room for me closer to the city...any ideas? I'm looking to move by/on Sept. 13ish.
