Monday I got a call from my brother, T. He left a message saying that my mom was in the hospital because her leg was aching way too much. After they checked her out, it turned out to be a blood clot. When I heard that I freaked out a little. It might have been a little premature, but blood clots in the leg can turn into something worse. I've heard

I am glad that your mom is okay.

I know someday I will lose my parents, but I don't want it to happen so soon.

I feel the same way... I remember that I used to have nightmares about my parents not being around, and that scared me more than anything. It still does.

Thanks, she's doing a lot better.

I'm starting to feel like my time with my parents is short and getting shorter everyday. So I appreciate the time I have with them a lot more now.
