friends

I come to realize that some of the people I thought of as friends were just “drug-friends”. My friend J who I’ve known since high school had become just that, a drug-friend. ah yes.. the "drug friends"... i have had my share. its a weird feeling, when you realize that thats all they are. or that is what your "friendship" revolved around. or ended up being about. hmm...

What's weird is when your original friendship turns into a drug friendship. I would have thought, that the original friendship would supersede the drug link, but alas, the drug link ends up being the only link in the end.

We all need basement friends, but only sometimes.. it's harder to find quality people who aren't absolutely in-fucking-sane, and yet still entertaining and fun to be around. Then again, I would rather be alone than be with someone who is boring. I do hate your friends, though. I've never had someone's friends and family treat me so bad in my life.

All those guys are strange. They are all stuck in the same rut, and I don't want to live like that anymore. Quality people are hard to find, they usually hide off in ivory towers and I've have no ladder or trebuchet to get me up there.
