alex and i are going to new york city from july 25-29.  actually, alex will be there until the 31st.   wanna come?  buy your ticket immediatemente!  it will be much fun!  i am going to try to pass alex off as ashley olson and see if it gets us free swag.  i shall be her trusted personal assistant and we will both wander the city in enormous bug eye

i got a flight on AA for $193....however, it probably could be cheaper if you looked on airtran, jetblue, or student travel. or if you took the train. we'll be staying in a hostel for $30/night, though so that off-sets some costs. alex is still trying to charm anyone we know into free lodging.

yes. there was an online special at airtran that was $74 each way. but you had to make a stopover in atlanta.
