i received an email that very much looked like it was from my bank, saying that i would be receiving a new atm/check card in the mail and that i needed to verify some information. when i read it, i thought, forget that. if its real, they can get it from me another way! then i deleted it

Working at a bank I get the warnings from Loss Prevention all the time....on a side note I keep getting one of those from a "bank" that i don't even bank with.

johnathan was getting one from some bank we had never heard of before. i think thats what tipped me off.
