eve was created in God's image, without Eve Adam was considered incomplete.

no, from the biblical Christian standpoint. when God created Adam, he needed someone to keep him company, instead of making another man, God created a woman. not only to give him pleasure but love. it doesnt mean marriage. i think she's meaning that Adam was alone and Eve made him feel more complete.
