Hi Ash,

I don't think you're being selfish at all. If you feel like things were getting worse then ending the relationship was the right thing to do. I know it's easy for me to say this, but if being in the relationship didn't feel good at the moment then I think your decision is for the better.

Now I can't say I'm a relationship expert (seeing as how I was happily single until last October, heh), but try to take this time to focus on yourself,　and try not to blame yourself. ♥

And ah, Phantom of the Opera. Maybe one day I'll fulfill my dream of standing up during an exam and exclaiming "THE PHAAAAANTOM OF THE OPERA IS HEEERE!!". One day....!

i'm no relationship expert but i've had past relationships that i thought were great and it wasn't until they ended that i realized they were totally wrong for me. if you thought it was wrong for you, then it was wrong for you. you'll be sad, because a relationship ending it a sad thing. but that doesn't mean it wasn't the best decision for you AND for him. it took me a lot of time to understand myself, who i am and what i really want, and i needed to do that without being in a relationship. i was fortunate enough to eventually have right guy come into my life, even when i wasn't looking. and it was those past wrong relationships that helped me realize that this one is right. you will find that some day, when you least expect it. until then, just have fun :)

ps. let's get coffee and chat again when you're home! very cheap coffee... :)
