Deepest Sender

After trying a few different add ons for posting to livejournal I decided I still liked Deepest Sender best. I've had a chance with this new pc to try out a variety of things. It's been fun but I need to get on to some of the things they are paying me to do!

Texas is surprising me more everyday. I think it's going to be alright. :)

What'd you try? I'm still a fan of Deepest Sender... mostly. It's got issues with Firefox 3 that are really irritating (like not being able to do LJ User tags).

I'm also trying out ScribeFire because it's got a little better WordPress support and supports multiple blogs a lot better than Deepest Sender.
But it irritates me in that it won't pop out into a separate window or tab. Instead it takes over the bottom half of your FF window - very irritating because I typically run a very "short" web browser and ScribeFire leaves me with about 5 visible lines of text in the remaining non-ScribeFire portion of the window.

I tried Scribefire too. Just didn't like it because, as you said, it took up half the page. Also for some reason I couldn't locate the "delete post" option. I was bugged because I've wanted something that would let me post the same entry to two different sites. (i.e. livejournal, blogger) Oh well, back to tried and true until something better comes along.

Deleting post in ScribeFire:
  1. "Blogs" tab - select blog containing the targeted post.
  2. "Entries" tab - select the "Posts" sub-tab
  3. "Posts" sub-tab - locate and click on the targeted post. This should load it into the editor pane.
  4. Editor pane - Click on the "Delete" button below the edit window.

That'll bring up a confirmation window.
Works in Wordpress, haven't tried LiveJournal.

DS is easier. File to edit last entry to delete post. Bingo it's gone.

Even though I can't post to blogger from DS it's still ok because I like the post function in blogger.
